was just reminded of this argument i got into with a girl i went to middle school with about socialism. she’s a freshman doing pre-med now, and her main argument against socialism (or just plain independent socialized medicine) was that, if (democratic) socialism or fully socialized medicine became reality, SHE WOULDN’T GET PAID AS MUCH.
